Players of the national team of Ukraine Denis Boyko and Ruslan Rotan tried on white and blue T-shirts for the first time in a long time.

In the meeting with "Olympic", the pupil of "Dynamo" came out in a T-shirt of Kyiv for the second time after returning to the club. On Thursday, Boyko defended a full match in the 1/16 finals of the Europa League against AEK. It was in the Athens match that the goalkeeper broke a 14-month series without playing practice.

After a break of 10 years

36-year-old Ruslan Rotan also had a full match with Olympic (he earned a yellow card in the second half). The midfielder came on the field as part of Dynamo for the first time since 2007, ie after a break of 10 years. Almost all this time Ruslan defended the colors of "Dnipro", and spent the last six months in the Czech "Slavia". It will be recalled that together with Dynamo Rotan once won the Cup and Super Cup of Ukraine twice, won gold and silver medals of the championship.

Boyko played five matches for the national team, the last of which was in November 2016. Rotan came on the field in a blue and yellow shirt 98 times and scored eight goals. In the last match of the main team of the country, against Slovakia, he was the captain.
