As part of a sports competition among veterans of the ATO "Games of the Unconquered", on the joint initiative of the Football Federation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a new football tournament was launched in our country, which aims to psychological and physical rehabilitation of servicemen — "Cup of the Unconquered".

On December 23, the Organizing Committee and the Directorate of Pilot Competitions were established in the Football House, which included representatives of the FFU, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, , Government Office for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.

Vadym Svyridenko, a veteran of the Anti-Terrorist Operation and a member of the national team of Ukraine at the 2017 Undefeated Games in Canada, was elected Chairman of the Organizing Committee. He thanked the FFU for its support in seeking to provide assistance to servicemen affected by the fighting, and promised to make a proposal to include football in the Igor Neskorenykh program.

The Undefeated Cup is another important social project of the Football Federation of Ukraine to help ATO servicemen. Earlier, at the initiative of the FFU, the necessary medical equipment was purchased for the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense, a gym with special simulators for rehabilitation of the wounded was opened, and 21 apartments for the families of the fallen ATO Heroes were handed over. In addition, with the support of the Football Federation of Ukraine, annual competitions are held among teams formed of ATO Heroes. Matches with the participation of servicemen and under the auspices of the FFU take place in military units in the ATO zone and at the stadiums of the Football Federation of Ukraine, "said FFU First Vice President Vadym Kostyuchenko, who joined the Organizing Committee as a co-chair.

In turn, the adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Dmytro Hryshchenko, thanked the national association for participating in an important social initiative, which is the psychophysical restoration of Ukrainian military personnel, ATO Heroes.

The organizing committee decided to invite all regions of Ukraine to form football teams to participate in the tournament on a territorial basis. The format of the competition includes a game "6 on 6" (5 field players and a goalkeeper), and the decisive meetings of the "Cup of the Unconquered" will take place on May 13 on the artificial fields of NTK. V. Bannikov in Kyiv.

Veterans and active servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, as well as volunteer formations that have certificates of participation in hostilities and were wounded, injured or fell ill during or as a result of performing official duties in the area of ​​the anti-terrorist operation or during peacekeeping operations with the participation of Ukraine.
