Rivne Regional Football Federation has initiated the creation of the Football Development Program for 2018-2022

On Thursday, March 22, during a session of the Rivne City Council, the deputies decided to create a commission, which will be engaged in the Program of football development in Rivne for the coming years.

The initiator of the development of such a program was the Rivne Regional Football Federation, reported on the ROFF website.

- The previous program, which operated in the regional center, ended in 2016, - said the head of the ROFF Alexei Khakhlov. - Therefore, the need for such a football development program until 2022 is quite urgent. Rivne Regional Football Federation together with the city federation acted as a catalyst for the creation of such a document, which, according to Mayor Volodymyr Khomko, will include the reconstruction of Avangard Stadium, construction of fields and football fields, financial support of Veres People's Club, creation of new football classes and sections, cooperation with amateur teams, professional development of coaches and many other pressing issues. We are ready to pass the experience of our two federations - city and regional - to the members of the created commission.

Also, Oleksiy Khakhlyov, answering the deputies' questions, assured that Rivne's Veres would return to Rivne when a stadium was built in the city.

- Re-registration is related to UEFA certification. I hope we will take part in the European Cups next season, and I hope that from these competitions, perhaps even in the format of the Champions League, we will return to the stadium in Rivne, - said Khakhlov.
