Young Heads of “Veres” Junior School Win the Heavenly Hundred Heroes Tournament

The 4th football tournament in memory of the heroes of the Heavenly Hundred among young men (U-14, U-15) ended in Rivne.

The winner of the competition has become team "Veres-2003" (U-15). The second place in the tournament was taken by the team of CYSS (Netishyn), and the third - "Veres-2004" (U-14). Anna Adamchuk, the daughter of the hero of the Heavenly Hundred from Rivne Georgy Harutyunyan, and the chairman of the Rivne Regional Football Federation Oleksiy Khakhlov took part in awarding the teams and football players.

— I want to congratulate you on your achievements in the tournament. I hope that you will remember the feat of the Heavenly Hundred, you will remember why the Revolution of Dignity took place — for your future. Just remember, respect and honor, — Anna Adamchuk addressed the participants of the tournament.

I hope that in the future football will make you men, leaders, real Ukrainians who will not only speak Ukrainian, but also in the family, at work will bear the name of a Ukrainian in their city, in our country. Oleksandr Lobasyuk from the Veres-2003 (U-15) team won the title of the best player of the tournament and the prize of the Rivne City Football Federation.

The competition took place over two days in a circle system. The tournament was attended by CYSS "Veres-2003" (Rivne), CYSS "Veres-2004" (Rivne), Football Academy "Standard" (Rivne), CYSS (Netishyn, Khmelnytsky region), Christian Football Club "Nadiya" (Rivne) .
