U-16: Ukraine's youth national team to play in UEFA development tournament in Finland

Volodymyr Yezersky's wards are preparing for the international tournament, which will take place from April 26 to 30.

The training camp of the youth national team of Ukraine (players not older than 2002) started today, which will go to Finland on the 25th, where it will take part in the UEFA development tournament.

The head coach of the team Volodymyr Yezerskyi invited 20 football players to this training camp.

Goalkeepers - Ruslan Nescheret (Dynamo Kyiv), Nikita Turbayevsky (Shakhtar Donetsk).

Defenders - Konstantin Vivcharenko, Igor Huk, Danylo Skorko, Ilya Zabarny, Denis Kuzyk (all - Dynamo Kyiv), Daniel Egbujuo, Anthony Emere (both - Shakhtar Donetsk).

Midfielders - Volodymyr Brazhko, Mykyta Isadchenko, Artem Kulakovsky, Yevhen Ryazantsev (all - Dynamo Kyiv), Heorhiy Sudakov, Vladyslav Kobylyansky (both - Shakhtar Donetsk), Valentyn Rubchynsky, Maksym Solovyov (both - Dnipro Dnipro).

Forwards - Vladislav Vanat (Dynamo Kyiv), Danylo Honcharuk (Shakhtar Donetsk), Yuriy Radelitsky (UFK-Karpaty Lviv).

Four European national teams will take part in these competitions. In addition to the blue-yellows, these are the teams of Finland (host), Hungary and Cyprus.

Four national teams will play a single-round tournament, which will determine the winner. Volodymyr Yezersky's wards will play the first match on April 26 against Finland, then on the 28th they will meet Hungary and on the 30th they will meet Cyprus.

The performance in Finland is one of the stages of preparation of the national team of Ukraine for official matches.

It will be recalled that on the way to the continental championship, the final part of which will be held in Ireland, the Ukrainian team will first have to meet in qualifying matches with peers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland and Gibraltar. The matches of this stage of the competition will take place in the autumn of this year - on October 10, 13 and 16 in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The elite round of Euro-2019 will include the two best teams from each of the 13 groups, as well as four teams that will take third place and have the best tournament results in meetings with top pairs. The matches of the elite round of the European Championship will take place in March, and the final part of the competition - in May 2019.
