Trophy Experience. Kherson and Tavriya Simferopol first meet UEFA Champions League cups

Tour of the Champions League Cup has begun in Ukraine. After festive events in KievIn the framework of which the honor trophies were passed in the capital and a photo session for everyone, the cups went on a trip to cities of our country, the first of which were Kherson and Berislav.

Kherson region and Berislav opened the travel program not by chance. This is where the home of Tavria is now, which is the first champion of independent Ukraine and the first representative of our country in the UEFA Champions League. Unfortunately, now the club is forced to live not in Simferopol, but it managed to revive and actively develop, and this is the main thing. In addition, as FFU President Andriy Pavelko said in Beryslav, the construction of a new stadium will begin here in the near future.

"I would like to congratulate all of us on a wonderful holiday - a football holiday," said Andriy Pavelko. - The Champions Cups visited such a wonderful city as Berislav. I want to convey greetings from all of football Ukraine, to share a part of the football holiday that will take place in the capital on May 24 and 26, to convey the energy that these cups carry. These days, Ukraine will attract the attention of the whole world - about 140 countries will broadcast the final match of the Champions League. "

"Today I am very pleased to be here, because this is where the Tavriya team is based, which turns 60 this year and which became the first champion of independent Ukraine and the first representative of our country in the UEFA Champions League," said the FFU president. - It is symbolic that we are starting the Champions Cup tour from Beryslav. I can assure you that in the near future we will present a project of a new stadium, which will be built here and where Tavriya will play.

"It is very important that we see so many young football players here today," Andriy Pavelko addressed the representatives of the football shift. - I am sure that our boys and girls will grow up and be able to compete for these cups, so that they come to Ukraine again as trophies won by our teams.

I am sure that today's holiday will be an incentive for parents to bring their children to football sections, give a new impetus to the development of the game and contribute to the fact that we will eventually have new stars. I hope that today will be the first day of some personal football history for some boys and girls, and they will grow from amateur competitions first to performances for Tavriya, and later for the national team of Ukraine.

Every corner of Ukraine will be able to touch these wonderful trophies during their journey through the cities of our country. "

After the solemn part of the event, teams of young football players from Kherson, districts of the region and united territorial communities were photographed in memory of the Champions League cups.
