Women's National Team of Ukraine in qualification of the 2019 World Cup: the start time of matches at the Arena Lviv has been determined
On June 8 and 12, the national women's national team of Ukraine will hold qualifying matches for the 2019 World Cup against Denmark and Sweden respectively. Both matches will take place in Lviv at the Arena Lviv stadium. Time to start both matches — at 19.00.
The Ukrainians started their journey on September 15, starting with a home draw at the Lviv Arena with the Croatian team - 1:1. The next match of the national women's team of Ukraine was held on November 24 in the Hungarian city of Balmazujvaros. The difficult match ended with a minimal victory of the blue-yellows - 1:0. The only goal was scored by Daria Apanashchenko in the time added by the referee.
The last test for the national team of Ukraine were two away matches in Croatia and Denmark.
On April 5, in the Croatian city of Zadar, the Ukrainians held their third qualifying match, in which they won a convincing victory - 3:0 (Bosnyak's own goal and Tetyana Kozyrenko's two goals). And already on April 9 they were waiting for a match with the finalist of last year's Euro - the Danish national team. In the city of Viborg, our girls gave a fight to one of the leaders of European football, and, unfortunately, the only goal that the blue and yellows missed in the 78th minute, decided the fate of the match - 0:1.
It will be recalled that, according to the tournament regulations, the winners of seven selected groups of European qualification will go directly to the final part of the 2019 World Cup. The four best teams among those who will take second place (will take into account the results of matches with the first, third and fourth teams of groups), will play in the playoffs. This stage will consist of two rounds of two matches and will determine another participant of the 2019 World Cup from the UEFA zone.
