Ukraine has become the seventh UEFA association to be entrusted with the Champions League final!
Since the 2009/2010 season, when the Women's Champions League got its current name, six UEFA associations have played a decisive match for the tournament.
Twice the final was held in England (London) and Germany (Munich, Berlin). Spain (Getafe), Portugal (Lisbon), Italy (Reggio Emilia) and Wales (Cardiff) hosted a similar match. Now it is the turn of the capital of Ukraine, where the French "Lyon" and the German "Wolfsburg" will play the honorary trophy on May 24 at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valery Lobanovsky.
