But mistakes in protecting Albanians had far more serious consequences. Already in the 8th minute, intercepting the ball in the other half of the field, the Ukrainians played a quick combination. Marlos and Yarmolenko broke through the center, but both of their shots were blocked by defenders.

This blue-yellow combination, which was mostly closer to the right flank, created sharp moments more than once and finally achieved its goal in the 31st minute. Marlos made a great vertical pass to Yarmolenko, Andriy pulled on the defenders and passed to Konoplyanka, and he opened the score with one touch. In the second half, the blue and yellows continued to dominate. Seleznyov first scored above the goal from an advantageous position, then transferred the ball into the net, but from offside, and after a great shot by Konoplyanka from the penalty spot, the ball pulled Berisha from the top corner. Then Yarmolenko was close to a hat-trick, but the ball hit the post. In the end, the Albanians played one ball - Ndoi from under Karavaev accurately scored from the bottom in opposition to Lunin, but the last word was left to the Ukrainians. After Shaparenko's pass, Yarmolenko and Konoplyanka both went to the Albanian goalkeeper and clearly played a simple combination.
