Start of the Around the Football project by the FFU and the Foundation for the Development of Football of Ukraine
With the support of UEFA, the Football Federation of Ukraine and the Football Development of Ukraine Charitable Foundation have launched a social project "Around Football".
On Monday, June 4, 25 children with disabilities and orphans aged 5 to 15 from Luhansk region visited the Olympic NSC and the Football House with excursions. The event took place within the framework of the social project "Around Football", which is implemented by the Football Federation of Ukraine together with the Charitable Foundation "Development of Football of Ukraine" to involve children who are socially vulnerable and need special attention in football activities.
"Around football" is a project designed to unite the children of Ukraine around football into a single football family! The project covers children from eastern Ukraine, children of servicemen, children with disabilities and those in difficult life circumstances.
As part of the project, children will be able to attend football matches, participate in football players' withdrawal ceremonies, compete in tournaments and take excursions to football museums.
The children answered the questions of a special football quiz, enriching their knowledge in the field of football. At the end of the meeting, all the children received gifts, football paraphernalia and balls from FFU.
