Ukraine's Paralympic team has won an international tournament before the European Championship

The team of domestic players with the effects of cerebral palsy continues to prepare for the continental championship.

At the international tournament in Lafamünde, Austria, which took place on June 15-25, the Ukrainian Paralympic team won, according to National Committee of Sport of Disabled People of Ukraine. The rivals of blue and yellow were teams from Italy, Germany, Ireland and Austria.

At the competition, our team performed as follows: Anton Balakay, Sergei Bedenok, Ivan Donenko, Ivan Shkvarlo, Taras Dutko, Edgar Kagramanyan, Artem Krasilnikov, Bogdan Kulinich, Oleg Len, Dmitry Molodtsov, Vitaly Romanchuk, Konstantin Simashko, Vitaly Sheremet , Stanislav Podolsky, Sergey Zinchenko.

The Ukrainian Paralympic Team is continuing its preparations for the European Championships, which will be held from July 22 to August 6, 2018 in the Netherlands. According to the draw of the tournament, the Blue and Yellows have reached the Group B, where they will play against England, Russia, Finland and Spain.

Group A: Holland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Denmark, Germany.

Group B: Ukraine, England, Russia, Finland, Spain.

It should be noted that the Paralympic team of Ukraine became the European champion five times (1999, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014), including winning the last continental forum in Portugal.

We should add that a few days ago the championship for Ukraine was won by the Ukrainian national team. As reported Association of football among disabled of Ukraine, domestic players with hearing impairments became the first in the qualifying tournament, confidently defeating the teams of Spain (4: 0) and Denmark (7: 0).

The European Championships will be held in Greece in the summer of 2019.
