Footballers born in 2003 determined the champion of Ukraine among young men for the second time. This time - in the age category U-15 in Shchaslyve (Kyiv region).

And unlike last season, when 14-year-old boys competed and the victory was celebrated by Dynamo Kyiv, this time the title was won by Shakhtar's representatives. They were led by the famous former midfielder of the Pitmen and the national team of Ukraine - Gennady Zubov.

In the decisive match, these two teams came together, and eventually came to a series of penalties. And the first mistake had to wait a very long time - 7: 6 in favor of Shakhtar. During the game a draw was recorded - 1: 1. Dynamo managed to respond to Christian Bako's goal (37th minute), which moved to the Pitmen from Mukachevo, in the 70th minute - Yevhen Opanasenko scored.

"Psychology came to the fore," said Zubov, whose wards in 2017 were third in the final tournament. - The guys coped: they missed the ball in response at the end of the match, but at the same time proved to be more morally stable. They were also ready for a series of penalties, where they coped with the excitement. "

"It was necessary to score in regular time in order not to bring the case to the penalty spot," explained Dynamo head coach Oleksiy Drotsenko. - Yes, we found our goal from the standard in the last minutes. But there were three or four more moments in which we had to solve everything in regular time. And a series of penalties is a lottery ... "

In contrast to the U-14 and U-16 age categories, where all prizes were won exclusively by representatives of the second zone of the regular championship of Ukraine, two teams from the fourth zone won bronze among 15-year-olds. And not from Lviv, but from Chernivtsi and Morshyn. The only goal in the 23rd minute in favor of "Bukovina" was scored by Ruslan Nepeipiev - 1: 0.
