The last match of the World Cup 2019 qualification will be held in Ternopil

On August 30 and September 4, 2018, the women's national team of Ukraine will play the final matches of the 2019 World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Hungary, respectively. And if our footballers will play a match against the Swedes on the road, then with the Ukrainian's neighbors, as became known, will meet in Ternopil, at the city stadium (the match starts at 18.00). 

An interesting fact: in previous meetings with these rivals, minimal victories of Ukraine were recorded. On November 24, 2017, the women's national team of Ukraine held difficult match in Hungary, which ended with the victory of the blue-yellows - 1: 0. The only goal was scored by Daria Apanashchenko in the time compensated by the referee. And on June 12, 2018, Ukrainian women created a real sensation. Visiting Lviv The leader of the group, the Swedish national team, visited. The fate of the match was decided by a goal scored again by the captain of our team Daria Apanashchenko.

It will be recalled that according to the tournament regulations, the winners of seven selected groups of European qualification will go straight to the finals. The four best winners of the second places in the matches with the first, third and fourth teams of the groups will play in the playoffs. This stage will consist of two rounds of two matches and will determine another participant of the 2019 World Cup from the UEFA zone.
