U-19: Before the trip to Finland, the Ukrainian national team held two sparring sessions

In preparation for Euro 2019, the youth national team of Ukraine U-19 held two friendly matches. 

Today in Vorzel the blue-yellows played two sparring matches against Kolos from Kovalivka. The national team of Ukraine started the first game well - Andriy Kulakov scored dangerously with his head. And in the 22nd minute, Karpaty midfielder Andriy Remenyuk scored an accurate long-range shot under the bar.

In the second half, the U-19 team was more focused on defending their own goal and attacked less successfully. Mykola Musolitin had a good moment, but scored against the Kolos goalkeeper. It is also worth noting the confident actions of goalkeepers Andriy Kozhukhar and Dmytro Riznyk, who defended in half. As a result, the youth team won a minimal victory over the representative of the first league.

In the second match, the blue and yellows played according to the scheme with five defenders. The head coach released players who did not participate in the first sparring. The exception was Igor Snurnitsyn, who replaced the injured Viktor Kornienko at the beginning of the second half.

Before the injury, Shakhtar's defender scored the only goal of the national team, scoring a penalty in the 38th minute. Before that, at the beginning of the match, Kolos opened the scoring thanks to a well-placed shot to the "nine" from outside the penalty area.

In the second half of the match the game became more powerful. Kolos attacked more sharply, so Vladislav Kucheruk had to save the team several times. Serhiy Buletsa, who took over the game, stood out among the blue and yellows. As a result, the second sparring ended in a draw.

Tomorrow morning, the youth national team of Ukraine will leave for Finland, where a continental forum will be held on July 16-29. In the group round, blue and yellow will play with France (July 17), England (July 20) and Turkey (July 23).
