Arbitrage Observer Workshop: Emphasis on the Moral and Ethical Component
On July 10-11, the Football House hosted training seminars for observers of the second and first league arbitrations, as well as the Premier League.
At the beginning of the meeting, the chairman of the FFU Arbiters Committee, Luciano Luci, noted that the national association continued to struggle with match-fixing matches, and the role of arbitration observers was very important in identifying such unpleasant episodes.
"This year is crucial: the cleansing of corruption continues. In your hands is the young generation, which must become even more qualified and professional, "said the chairman of the FFU Arbitration Committee.
For two days, FIFA and UEFA instructors, as well as the Director of the Department of Stadiums, Event Security and FFU Special Projects, Ivan Fedorenko, worked with the observers.
The lecturers summarized the work of the arbitration observers and match delegates in the spring part of the competition, as well as acquainted the participants with changes and additions to the IFAB Game Rules-2018/2019. In addition, the participants of the seminars have passed pedagogical testing of the rules of the game and video test of UEFA.
