Chernomorets team won the Odessa Cup

Part of the program of events dedicated to holding in Odessa match for the Super Bowl of Ukraine, became a duel between the veterans of "Chernomorets" and the team of Ukrainian journalists.

The charity match, called the Odessa Cup, took place on July 20 at the Spartak Stadium in South Palmyra. The event was organized by the Football Federation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Premier League, the News Center news agency and the Odessa Regional Football Federation. The main purpose of the event was to help children displaced from eastern Ukraine in sports.

Before the match, the legend of Ukrainian football - Igor Belanov, addressed the audience, wishing a successful game to all participants of the match and interesting football to the fans gathered in the stands. After that, the organizers handed out soccer balls to the children who brought the teams to the field.

As for the result of the match, the hosts won 4: 1. Oleksandr Kosyrin (twice), Yevhen Lutsenko and Konstantin Balabanov scored goals as part of the Chornomorets veterans' team. The ball is part of the team of journalists on the account of the expert of the TV channel "Football" Vyacheslav Shevchuk.

The participants of the match were greeted by the first vice-president of FFU Oleg Protasov, who stressed that the main result of the Odessa Cup is to help children and the development of children's football in Ukraine.

The participants of the event were also addressed by the President of the Premier League Thomas Grimm, who noted the high skill of the winners and wished the journalists more good materials.
