The meeting of the Executive Board of the Football Federation of Ukraine took place in Odessa

On the 21st of July in Odessa the premises of the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Ukraine took place in the premises of the Football Museum. Following the results of its work, the Executive Board made a number of important decisions.

In particular, the FFU Executive Committee supported the draft decision on the transfer to the authorized capital of FFU Marketing LLC of all commercial rights belonging to the federation. Also, the FFU Executive Committee approved the Agreement on the organization and holding of All-Ukrainian football competitions among the teams of UPL clubs of the 2018/2019, 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 sports seasons, instructed FFU Marketing LLC to enter into an agreement on the transfer of commercial rights with determined by the Agreement on the organization and holding of the All-Ukrainian football competitions among the teams of UPL clubs of the sports seasons 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, approved the plan-calendar of the All-Ukrainian football competitions of the 2018/2019 season and approved the Regulations of the All-Ukrainian football competitions among the teams of UPL clubs of the 2018/2019 season, which provides for the possibility of increasing the number of Premier League participants to 16 teams next season.

In addition, the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Ukraine approved the FFU Disciplinary Rules in a new edition. In another decision, the committee approved the free transfer to state and municipal ownership of a number of sports facilities (football fields and stadiums), which were built by the FFU under the "Hat-trick" program.

Also the executive committee extended his contract with the coaching staff of the national team of Ukraine until July 2020 and identified the main task of getting the team to the finals of the 2020 European Championship.

During the meeting of the FFU Executive Committee, the issue of the prospects of introducing the VAR system in Ukraine was also considered. In particular, the chairman of the FFU Arbitration Committee Luciano Luci informed the participants of the meeting about the progress of preparation for the use of the system and the steps that need to be taken for its implementation and effective work. As the President of the Football Federation of Ukraine Andriy Pavelko noted during the consideration of the issue, the VAR system can work in the domestic championship before the end of this year. Preliminary testing of the relevant equipment was conducted at the match of the Super Cup of Ukraine, which took place on July 21 in Odessa.

After the meeting, the FFU President presented awards and souvenirs from the Football Federation of Ukraine to the founder of the Odessa Football Museum Emmanuel Ganev and a well-known official Eduard Luchin.
