In Ukraine, the successful implementation of the state program for the construction of mini-sites for football
Active work on construction and reconstruction of mini football pitches is ongoing in various regions of Ukraine.
Within the framework of the budget target program, UAH 270 million was provided for these needs this year. Local budgets also actively participated in financing the project. So by the end of the year, hundreds of new football fields will be built across the country.
"The Football Federation welcomes this policy of the state, because the creation of football infrastructure is the main basis for the development of youth football and physical education of Ukrainian youth. The availability of football should be maximum. Every child should be able to play football without hindrance and free of charge. Ukrainian football will develop rapidly and fully only when it becomes popular, and therefore accessible from childhood, "- said the first vice-president of FFU Oleg Protasov in a conversation with journalists on the official website of the federation.
The capital is currently working on the construction of more than 50 new football fields, most of which should start working at the beginning of the new school year, ie from September 1.
It will be recalled that the Football Federation of Ukraine has set itself the goal of implementing a very ambitious "Marshall Plan", which envisages the appearance of about 2020 new football fields in Ukraine by 2, as well as another 500 stadiums.
"And we are confidently moving towards this goal. If, for example, by 2014, 768 football fields were built, then from 2014 to 2018, more than 720 football infrastructure facilities (including eight stadiums) have already been built. Currently, about 800 facilities are under construction, "Protasov added.
