The new season in the highest league of the Ukrainian women's team starts

28 teams from eight regions of our country will take part in the 10th women's national championship.

The participating teams will play two rounds according to the "autumn-spring" system, a total of 90 matches. Following the results of the tournament, the winner of the championship will receive a ticket to the Women's Champions League. The last place team will play two transition matches (home and away) against the team that finishes third in the first league. The winner of these matches will receive the right to play in the elite division. The teams that took the first two places in the first league will immediately rise in the class. Thus, from the 2019/2020 season, the top league will be expanded to 12 teams.

So, 10 teams will take part in the championship, which starts today: “Zhytlobud-1” (Kharkiv), “Zhytlobud-2” (Kharkiv), “Yatran-Berestivets” (Uman district, Cherkasy region), “ Panthers ”(Uman, Cherkasy region),“ Zlagoda-Dnipro-1 ”(Dnipro),“ Yednist-SHVSM ”(Plysky, Chernihiv region),“ Family-Lyceum ”(Kostopil, Rivne region),“ Ladomyr ” (Volodymyr-Volynskyi, Volyn Oblast), Voskhod (Oleshkivskyi District, Kherson Oblast), Yantarochka (Novoyavorivsk, Lviv Oblast).
