Champions League. Dynamo starts Euro Cup season with a draw in Prague

This week's European Cup program for Ukrainian clubs was opened by Dynamo Kyiv, which parted ways with Slavia in Prague.

At the very beginning of the meeting Dynamo created a sharp moment. Besedin shot close to Slavia's goal, but hit the Czech goalkeeper. Kievans did not have more such opportunities before the break. In general, the guests rarely approached the gate of Collarge, mostly playing the ball in the middle of the field. Instead, the hosts, although inferior to Kiev in possession of the ball, much more often hit the goal. However, Slavia did not create any obvious threats, except for the moment in the 13th minute, when Boyko managed to hit Skoda's head.

In the second half, the Dynamo acted more assertively, but the Czechs occasionally responded dangerously. In a tense and tough game, both teams had chances to play. At the end of the meeting, the Kievans took advantage of a momentary loss of concentration by rivals, Sidorchuk took Verbich alone with Collage, and the Slovenian realized the moment. But the winners did not keep the winning score. At the last minute of the game, the referee awarded a penalty kick to the goal from Kiev, which was implemented by Huschbauer.

Dynamo missed for the first time in the fifth official game since the beginning of the season, and this ball did not allow them to win for the fifth time in a row. However, given the strategy of two-match confrontations, the result of 1: 1 for the first, away game - is quite decent.

The game of Dynamo was attended by players of the national team of Ukraine, who were called to the last training camp of the national team: Boyko, Burda, Tsygankov (replaced in the 90th minute), Buyalsky (yellow card, replaced in the 68th minute), Besedin, Shepelev (came on as a substitute in the 68th minute).

The match in Kiev will take place on August 14.
