Edward Kobak: "We will try to win the Bannikov Memorial at the expense of desire and dedication"

Ukraine U-17 midfielder Edward Kobak, who has already scored two goals against opponents in the Victor Bannikov Memorial, summarized the confident start of the Blue and Yellows international tournament.

- I think we won both games quite deservedly, - said the national team midfielder. - As in the match with Slovakia, and in the game against Lithuania we tried to act first. We managed to impose our opponents on the game and win. Although with Lithuania it was a little easier. We tried to put pressure on the opponents in the first minute, and it helped us to score quick goals.

Of course, I'm glad I scored twice in the tournament. I did not play for the national team so often, so I will try to progress further, especially since I have a new challenge in my career after the transition from Dnipro to Shakhtar.

I know that the Georgian national team has won the Bannikov Memorial in the last two years. The coaches did not set us the task of winning the cup at any cost. But we talked and discussed that we would try to win the tournament due to desire and dedication. We support each other and will continue to try to please the fans of the national team.
