For six days, starting on August 11, 20 teams from five countries played 10 matches a day at seven stadiums in Transcarpathia. One day (14th day) was set aside for football players and a coaching seminar.

Shakhtar, led by Hennadiy Zubov and Oleksandr Alimov, celebrated the victory in the junior category. There is nothing strange in this, because two months ago the miners born in 2004 became the champions of Ukraine in the 2017/2018 season. But it is worth noting that in Transcarpathia, representatives of the Donetsk club did not miss a single ball.

In the group, Zubov's charges beat German "Brandenburg" (5: 0), Hungarian "Varda" (4: 0) and Lviv "Karpaty" (2: 0), in the semifinals they defeated Kyiv "Dynamo", which put Gavashi in the tournament. football players who are one year younger - born in 2005 (4: 0), and in the final they met a very stubborn opposition of Uzhhorod SDYUSSHOR - 0: 0. According to the rules, the team immediately scored a penalty. The Pitmen made a mistake once, but their goalkeeper Denis Barchenko took two shots - 4: 2.
