Representatives of the FFU and UEFA to hold a seminar for trainers of the Youth Sports School of Kherson and Mykolaiv region

The staff of the Football Federation of Ukraine, with the participation of a UEFA representative, will discuss topical issues with the coaches of the Youth Sports School of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.

The seminar will be held in Kherson on August 25, 2018. It will address topical issues of children's and youth football development. This was announced by the head of the FFU youth football department Valery Zolotukhin at a press conference on the occasion of the start of the IV All-Ukrainian football tournament "Crimea is Ukraine" among youth teams formed of football players born in 2003.

"On August 25, at 13 p.m., we will start a forum for coaches in the Kherson Regional State Administration. We invited all football coaches of children's and youth sports schools of Kherson and Kherson region. Also invited children's and youth coaches of the next Nikolaev area, and I hope, they will respond. The seminar will be quite interesting - the main issue is the organization of the competition. We are talking to UEFA's Roger Meichtri about how best to do this. I hope he will give us advice, ”Ukrinform quotes Valery Zolotukhin as saying.

The second issue of the discussion will be the payment of compensation by professional football clubs to children's and youth sports institutions for the training of young football players. The third issue is the organization of the training process of young players. "The seminar will be a practical base for our coaches," Zolotukhin stressed.
