Tournament "Crimea is Ukraine": the main prize goes to the Dnieper
The traditional All-Ukrainian ended in Kherson tournament "Crimea is Ukraine." Eight teams composed of players born in 2003-2004 took part in the fourth competition, which was held under the auspices of the Football Federation of Ukraine.
Teams from Kharkiv and Volodymyr-Volynskyi were the first to meet at the Crystal Stadium on Sunday, determining the bronze medalist of the tournament. UFC "Olympic" won with a score of 2: 1. After that there was a duel for the first place in which "Dnipro" from the city of the same name appeared stronger than the Nikolaev VUFK "Torpedo" - 4: 1 and won the main prize of competitions.

After the final match, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners took place at the Crystal Stadium. The winners were greeted by FFU First Vice-President Vadym Kostyuchenko, FFU Vice-President, Chairman of the Crimean Football Federation Serhiy Kunitsyn, MP Mykola Palamarchuk, FFU Youth Football Head Valery Zolotukhin, and UEFA expert on elite youth football development Roger.
Vadym Kostyuchenko conveyed to the tournament participants congratulations from FFU President Andriy Pavelko and the coaching staff of the national team of Ukraine headed by Andriy Shevchenko. Also, one of the leaders of the federation thanked all the directors of the clubs who provided a trip for their students to the tournament. In addition, the first vice-president of FFU presented UEFA representative Roger Meichtri with an FFU pennant, a T-shirt with the logo "Crimea is Ukraine" and thanks from Andriy Pavelko for participating in educational and methodological forum for trainers-teachers of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
The main prize was awarded to the winners, the Dnipro team, by Serhiy Kunitsyn, who also thanked all the teams for participating in the tournament, and the organizers for its excellent organization. The head of the Crimean Football Federation stressed that Crimea remains an integral part of Ukraine and the return of state sovereignty over the temporarily occupied territory is necessary for the full development of football on the peninsula.
Mykola Palamarchuk expressed his gratitude to the organizers and wishes for the teams for new victories. Liked the tournament and the UEFA representative. In his speech, Roger Maytree wished the young players new achievements.
Winners in individual nominations were also determined. The best are: player - Alexei Goryainov (UFC "Olympic"); goalkeeper - Bohdan Khoma (FC Dnipro); defender - Kirill Boyko (VUFK "Torpedo"); midfielder - Yegor Kochetkov ("BRW-BIK"); forward - Yaroslav Kravchenko (FC "Dnipro").
The winners and laureates of the tournament received cups, diplomas and medals from FFU. In addition, each team will take home a net of brand new balls (18 pieces - one for each player).
