U-21: Ukraine's youth team starts short-term picking

At this stage of the work, which will last until August 29, Oleksandr Golovko's wards will hold a sparring match with Obolon-Brovar.

Today, the youth national team of Ukraine started a mini-training camp, during which on August 29 it will play a friendly match with the first league team Obolon-Brovar. The meeting place has not been determined yet, but the start of the sparring is scheduled for 11.30.

To some extent, this work can be called experimental, as there are many new performers and those guys who have shown themselves at the start of the season.

The full list of players is as follows.

Goalkeepers: Volodymyr Makhankov (Dynamo Kyiv), Volodymyr Krynsky (Olympic Donetsk).

Defenders: Valery Luchkevich (Standard, Belgium), Denis Popov (Dynamo Kyiv), Myroslav Mazur (Vorskla Poltava), Oleksiy Bykov, Igor Kiryukhantsev, Serhiy Chobotenko (all - Mariupol), Vladislav Dubinchak, Oleksandr Osman ( both - "Arsenal-Kyiv").

Midfielders: Ahmed Alibekov (Dynamo Kyiv), Marian Mysyk (Vorskla Poltava), Oleksandr Pihalyonok (Mariupol), Yuriy Vakulko (Arsenal-Kyiv), Igor Kohut (Dnipro-1 Dnipro).

Forwards: Andriy Boryachuk (Mariupol), Andriy Shtogrin (Chornomorets Odessa), Vladyslav Alekseev (Arsenal-Kyiv), Oleg Kozhushko (Dnipro-1 Dnipro).

Next week, the Ukrainian national team will meet again and directly prepare for the matches of the Euro-2019 (U-21) qualifying tournament against the teams of Latvia and Andorra. They will be held in Zaporozhye on September 7 and 11 respectively.
