U-19: gathered for the last rehearsal before qualifying for the European Championship

U-19 U-2000 National Team (players not older than XNUMX years of age) will play in the tournament in Latvia.

The youth national team of Ukraine U-19 has started training, during which the team will perform at the international tournament "Cup of the Football Federation of Latvia". In addition to the Ukrainians and the hosts, the national teams of Macedonia and the Faroe Islands will take part in the competition.

The head coach of the blue and yellow Sergei Popov has attracted 20 football players.

Goalkeepers: Anatoliy Trubin (Shakhtar Donetsk), Andriy Artym (Karpaty Lviv).

Defenders: Maksym Dukhan, Mykola Yarosh, Danylo Hondak (all - Dynamo Kyiv), Roman Slyva, Petro Kharzhevsky (both - Karpaty Lviv), Maksym Agapov (Zorya Luhansk), Ihor Snurnitsyn (Olympic Donetsk).

Midfielders: Heorhiy Tsitaishvili, Bohdan Biloshevsky, Vikentiy Voloshin (all - Dynamo Kyiv), Klim Prykhodko, Mykhailo Mudryk (both - Shakhtar Donetsk), Rostyslav Lyakh, Ivan Zhelizko (both - Karpaty Lviv).

It will be recalled that in October of this year (October 10-16), the youth national team of Ukraine U-19 will play in the qualifying round of Euro-2019. Sergei Popov's team was in Group 8, where it was accompanied by Albania (host of the tournament), Slovakia and Norway. The two best national teams will advance to the elite round. The matches of the second stage of the competition will take place in the spring of next year, and the final part of the Euro will take place in July 2019 in Armenia.
