DUFLOW: ethics and fair play committee proposals fully taken into account

Meeting with the representatives of U-19 teams of the first league of DUFLU season 2018 took place in the House of Football/2019.

The meeting was attended by PFL athletic director Yevhen Moroz, DUFL first vice-president Stanislav Kochubinsky, FFU ethics and fair play committee chairman Francesco Baranka and Vitaliy Danilchenko, secretary of the committee. The meeting was held in the format of the application day for teams of the 1st and 3rd groups of competitions of the season-2018/2019. 

It will be recalled that this season 19 teams from different regions of Ukraine have expressed a desire to take part in the All-Ukrainian competitions among U-12 junior teams in the first league, which will start on September 37, which is a real record for such competitions. 

Representatives of the teams were informed about the constructive position of the Football Federation of Ukraine to promote this project. The head of the FFU youth football department Valery Zolotukhin conveyed congratulations to all present from the FFU president Andriy Pavelko and stressed that thanks to the support of the U-19 project (first league) by the FFU president the number of participants expands every year. the most democratic in Ukraine. 

The chairman of the FFU Ethics and Fair Play Committee Francesco Baranka, who was present at the meeting, stressed in his speech that the reporting competitions are the only ones under the auspices of the FFU, in which the committee's proposals are fully taken into account and included in the regulations. These proposals prohibit the transmission of statistics online during matches. Such a practice is still rare not only in Ukraine, but in the world in general.

Mr. Baranka also stressed that taking into account the proposals of his committee gave a significant result last season. After the introduction of the above-mentioned regulations, competitions among U-19 teams in the first league became exemplary in the fight against matches with a fixed result. Francesco Baranka thanked FFU President Andriy Pavelko for constructive work in the fight against matches that have the characteristics of games with a fixed result. 

Valery Zolotukhin, in turn, thanked the chairman of the ethics and fair play committee for active cooperation in combating this negative phenomenon and stressed that the FFU will continue to support the appropriate proposals from Mr. Baranka to get rid of abnormal football in our country.
