Premier League: Shakhtar deal with Alexandria ahead of Champions League start
On Saturday, there were two matches of the 8th round of the Prem'air league. Shakhtar defeated the nearest pursuer, Oleksandriya, and took the first step, while Vorsklaа» beat Karpaty in Lviv.
Both Saturday's matches were attended by clubs that will start playing in the group stage of European cup tournaments next week. Shakhtar, which is preparing for the Champions League match against Hoffenheim, inflicted the first home defeat of the season on Alexandria.
