Agrobusiness FC is the 35+ champion of Ukraine

The final stage of the Ukrainian 13+ Championship took place on September 14-35 in Bucha at the Jubilee Stadium. The winner of the tournament was "Agribusiness" from Volochysk, which in the final match in a series of post-match penalties defeated "Veteran" from Kryvyi Rih (regular time - 3: 3).

Championships among veterans in the 35+ category have been held in Ukraine since 1998. This year their traditional organizers were the Association of Football Veterans of Ukraine, the Football Federation of Ukraine and Agribusiness LLC. For the first time the competitions were held in a new format - the 35+ and 40+ championships were combined (now, according to the regulations, six players from 1983 to 1978 are allowed to participate in the teams, the rest of the players are 40 years and older, ie from 1977). birth).

In total, 11 teams from different regions of Ukraine took part in the championship, which, after passing two qualifying rounds, determined the quartet of the strongest. These are "Agribusiness" (Volochysk) - last year's winner of the 40+ championship, "Desna" (Chernihiv), "Veteran" (Kryvyi Rih) and "Veteran-Luchesk" (Volyn region). Note that in the final round in the bids of the teams were many famous artists, whose actions were a real pleasure for the audience. These are Serhiy Nagornyak, Volodymyr Yezersky, Eduard Tsikhmeistruk, Oleksiy Belik, Bohdan Shershun, Roman Maksymyuk, Valentyn Platonov, Taras Kabanov and others.

In addition to numerous fans, well-known Ukrainian and foreign football figures - Anatoliy Demyanenko, Volodymyr Troshkin, Vasyl Orletsky, Vitaliy Kvartsyany, Shandor Varga, Bucha Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk - were present in the stands of Jubilee.

The scenario of the veteran final could be envied by the Kyiv final of the Champions League. The only difference is that veterans have the strength to make incredible "comebacks". Khmelnytsky confidently led the game, winning - 3: 1, and nothing seemed to prevent their triumph. But the unyielding Kryvyi Rih managed to equalize thanks to two great shots from Serhiy Chudak. But in the penalty shootout, the players of the Volochysk team acted more successfully, with Oleg Sobutsky scoring the winning goal.

It is worth noting that all the costs of accommodation and meals for the participants during the final part, the competition were borne by AVFU together with the main partner of "Agribusiness". This allowed the teams to prepare for the matches in the best possible way, to focus on the sports component. A pleasant surprise was the visit to the football veterans of the popular pop singer Alexander Ponomarev, who once played football well as part of a team of singers. Such moments best show that the most important thing in life is to have good friends and the joy of communicating with them.

"All four teams that reached the final represent different parts of Ukraine," summed up the results of the championship, FFU Vice President, AVFU President Oleh Sobutsky. - But we all speak the language of football, understand each other well and once again confirm that Ukraine is united and indivisible. The 35-year-old Ukrainian Championship became the first tournament held by AVFU this year. Now we have a hot football season - next weekend in Vyshneve will be the final among players 45+, 55-year-olds will compete in two weeks. In October we will hold the finals of the Cup of Ukraine and the Super Cup…
