The annual National Mini-Football Championship has ended in Dnipro

Yesterday, September 27, the final matches of the annual championship of the National Guard of Ukraine in mini-football took place in Dnipro and the best teams and players of the tournament were determined.

The competition was attended by 17 teams, whose players represent all regions, all units and military units of the NMU. The tournament took place thanks to the fruitful cooperation of the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine, the Football Federation of Ukraine and the Football Federation of Dnipropetrovsk region.

During three days of football confrontations, the military showed a high level of play, dedication and will to win on the football fields. Each team to the last fought for the result.

Following the games, the places were distributed as follows.

Among the teams of group I (operational-territorial associations):

1st place - the team of the Western GR (Lviv);

2nd place - the team of the Southern General Staff (Odessa);

3rd place - the team of the Eastern GR (Kharkov).

Group II teams (direct regiments and crews):

1st place - team of military unit 3024 (Pavlograd);

2nd place - the team of military unit 2269 (Alexandria);

3rd place - the team of military unit 3021 (Dnipro).

Group III teams (direct subordination battalions):

1st place - the team of military unit 3022 (Shostka);

2nd place - team of military unit 3044 (Yuzhnoukrainsk);

3rd place - the team of military unit 3043 (Netishyn).

The best goalkeeper of the competition was Igor Punda from the Western Operational-Territorial Association, the best player was Valery Zamyatin from the Eastern GR, and the best scorer was Ildar Makaev from the Southern GR.

The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners was attended by honorary guests - Advisor to the President of the Football Federation of Ukraine Valentyn Latypov and Chairman of the Football Federation of Dnipropetrovsk region Viktor Andrukhiv. "I am pleased to send you congratulations from the President of the Football Federation of Ukraine Andriy Pavelko and thank you for your active sports position, bright game and wonderful football holiday! It is nice to note that now both the defenders of Ukraine and the national football team of Ukraine operate under one slogan, which is a talisman for our country - "Glory to Ukraine!". On behalf of the entire football community, I wish you good health and new victories! ” - Valentin Latypov congratulated the tournament participants.

"The Guardsmen have demonstrated a high level of play, and the national team of the National Guard of Ukraine will be able to prove itself with dignity in further competitions," said the chief judge of the competition - Colonel Andriy Meleshko.
