U-17: Ukraine's youth team begins work before qualifying for Euro-2019

As part of the Euro-2019 (U-17) qualification, Vladimir Jezersky's team will play with the teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland and Gibraltar.

Today the preparation for qualification of the European Championship has started in the youth team of Ukraine (players not older than 2002). Head coach of blue and yellow Vladimir Yezersky summoned the following performers for this work.

Goalkeepers: Oleksiy Slutsky (Dynamo Kyiv), Mykita Turbayevsky (Shakhtar Donetsk).

Defenders: Danil Skorko, Konstantin Vivcharenko, Ilya Zabarny, Denis Kuzyk (all - Dynamo Kyiv), Daniel Egbujuo, Anthony Emere, Dmitry Avdeev (all - Shakhtar Donetsk).

Midfielders: Viktor Bliznichenko, Volodymyr Brazhko, Yegor Glushach, Yevhen Ryazantsev (all - Dynamo Kyiv), Heorhiy Sudakov, Bohdan Vyunnyk, Vladyslav Kobylyansky (all - Shakhtar Donetsk), Maksym Solovyov (Dnipro-1 Dnipro) , Edward Kobak (Shakhtar), Maksym Kucheryavy (CYSS-15 Kyiv), Maksym Shevchenko (Dynamo Minsk, Belarus).

Forwards: Vladislav Vanat (Dynamo Kyiv), Danylo Honcharuk (Shakhtar, Donetsk), Eric Shuranov (Nuremberg Germany).

On October 6, the national team of Ukraine will play a friendly match against Kyiv's Arsenal. The match will take place at the STC. V. Bannikov (beginning - at 16.00). And on the 7th the blue-yellows will go to Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the tournament will take place.

We would like to add that on the way to the Continental Championship, the final part of which will be held in Ireland, the Ukrainian team will have to first face qualifying confrontations with peers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland and Gibraltar. The matches of this stage of the competition will take place on October 10th, 13th and 16th.

The elite round of Euro-2019 will include the two best teams of each of the 13 groups, as well as four teams that will take third place and have the best tournament results in meetings with top pairs. The matches of the elite round of the European Championship will take place in March, and the final part of the competition - in May 2019.
