League of Nations. The coach of the Slovakian national team has decided to play in the match against the Czech Republic

Slovakia's head coach Jan Kozak has announced the squad for the League of Nations match with the Czech Republic and a friendly match against Sweden.

Ian Kozak summoned 23 football players to participate in the preparations for the Czech Republic and Sweden.

Compared to the players called up for the first match of the League of Nations against Ukraine (0: 1), Kozak's team has undergone eight changes. Peter Pekarik and Matush Bero returned to the national team, as well as two newcomers - David Gantsko and Samuel Mraz. Missing Robert Mazan, Eric Pachinda, Martin Valent and Michal Durish.

"The meeting with the Czech Republic will be crucial for us. After the defeat by Ukraine, the only acceptable result for the national team of Slovakia will be three points. The Czechs have the same situation. They are trying to stabilize the team, and they now have a new coach. I am looking forward to a difficult derby and I am very much asking the fans to support us at the stadium in Trnava, ”Jan Kozak called at the press conference.

It will be recalled that the League of Nations Slovakia-Czech Republic match will take place on October 13 (starting at 16.00 pm Kyiv time). The friendly match between Sweden and Slovakia will take place on October 16 in Stockholm (starting at 21.45 pm).
