Youth team of Ukraine WU-19 entered the elite round of selection for Euro-2019

The women's youth national team of Ukraine WU-19 won the second victory at the group selection stage of Euro-2019 and reached the elite round of selection.

Natalia Zinchenko's wards in the second match in group 8 of the qualifying round of Euro 2018 in Alytus defeated the Lithuanian team with a score of 2: 0. The match was held in favor of the blue and yellows, as evidenced by the statistics of shots on goal - 15: 9 in favor of the Ukrainians. 

Veronica Nikityuk scored the first goal in the 8th minute. The next goal was to give the spectators more time. But at the 60th minute of the meeting, Yulia Semeniuk doubled the advantage of the national team of Ukraine. As it turned out, this ball was the last in the meeting. 

Thus, our WU-19 women's youth team reached the elite selection round for Euro 2019 ahead of schedule.

According to the regulations, the two best teams of each of the 2019 groups, as well as the two best winners of the third places in the elite round of selection for Euro-11, will follow the results of the matches against the national teams that took the first and second places. The draw for the elite round will take place on November 23, and the fights of this stage will take place in the spring of 2019.
