The winners of the Children's Leather Ball tournament held an international friendly in Poland

The team of Volodymyr-Volyn specialized boarding school (boys born in 2005), which this year won the title of bronze medalist of the All-Ukrainian children's tournament "Leather Ball", visited Poland, where it held a friendly match in Bohukhvala with students of the football academy "Young Eagles" .

Our guys had to face the best Polish football players in the U-14 age category, who actually represent the Polish national team at their age. The match took place within the framework of the Polish program for the development of young talents at the invitation of the Polish Football Union with the support of the Football Federation of Ukraine.

Moreover, this event will be the first step in establishing fruitful cooperation between the football federations of Ukraine and Poland on future joint football projects. As the first vice-president of FFU Vadym Kostyuchenko noted the day before, for the winners of the All-Ukrainian tournament "Leather Ball" this is a great opportunity to improve their skills. And although our guys failed to get a positive result, conceding six goals, but the impression of being in Poland they will remain for life.

The experience will also help FFU in further work on the development of children's and youth football, as the Football Federation of Ukraine will continue to support and encourage similar projects and promote the development of grassroots football for further systematic development and self-realization of our football youth.
