U-19: Ukraine youth team failed to save match against peers from Norway

In the qualification of Euro-2019, the national team of Ukraine (players not older than 2000 years of birth) gave the team of Norway a minimum.

After a difficult victory over Albania (1:0) on the wards of Sergei Popov there was an even more difficult test. The match against the team of Norway was the worst for the blue-yellow way: after the first third of the game the opponents led with a score of 2-0, and soon our captain Petro Harzhevsky was eliminated.

Only at the end of the meeting did the Ukrainians manage to come to their senses. Substitutions worked, and one goal was organized by a bunch of "Carpathians" - Danilo Sikan assisted Rostislav Lyakh. However, our team failed to draw the match.

Now, in order to have a chance to reach the elite round, the Ukrainians need to conquer Slovakia on Tuesday, October 16th.
