Second League: Kremin wins and misses at home

The central match of the tour in group "B" took place in Kremenchug, where the leader, the local "Flint", hosted one of the pursuers - "Metallurg".

The hosts remained true to themselves, winning, thus winning all seven home games of the season and not missing a single ball. The fate of this tense match was decided by a well-aimed shot by Maxim Bogdanov in the 5th minute. Konstantin Cherniy could soon remove the issue of the winner from the agenda, but did not take the penalty.

In the same group, "Crystal" after returning to the second league also won six of their home matches. However, in the reporting round, this pleasant series for Kherson residents almost ended. In the confrontation with "Tavria Simferopol" they were twice ahead, but the guests each time restored the status quo. And yet the last word was left for "Crystal". Already in overtime, Ilya Shevtsov scored a penalty, and the hosts squeaked, but still scored another three points. The mood of the guests improved a bit after they learned that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the President of the FFU Andriy Pavelko announced construction of a stadium for Tavria Simferopol in Beryslav.

Minai (Group A) can also be called the team of its field, which lost only two points in six home matches before the confrontation with Ternopil's Niva. But Ternopil scored nine points out of 13 away. But this time in the suburbs of Uzhgorod they failed to give battle to ambitious hosts, who wanted revenge for the defeat in the first round. And the Transcarpathians got it. The most famous player of the second league, the multiple champion of Ukraine Vasyl Kobin, who not only distinguished himself with an accurate shot, but also skillfully played along with his partners, coped with the role of the leader.

"Minai" convincingly won, returned to the top of the standings and began to expect what will answer his main competitor - "Kalush", which held its match with "Cherkasy-Academy" on Sunday.

In case of victory, the "citizens" again topped the standings. But in the first half they did not manage to use their trump card - a quick transition from defense to offensive, and the players of "Cherkasy-Academy" did not allow Kalush to threaten their possessions. And only in the 38th minute the hosts took the lead thanks to a penalty realized by Dmitry Skakun. In the second half, the rivalry took place with the game advantage of the guests. However, at key moments, the Prykarpattia team stood by the wall near their goal and their goalkeeper Roman Herych acted unmistakably, which helped keep the winning score.
