The final stage of the All-Ukrainian yard football tournament took place in Kyiv
October 21 at the initiative of the Federation of Indoor Football of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, under the auspices of the Federation of Football of Ukraine and with the participation of the Charitable Foundation "Development of Football of Ukraine" in the fields of NTC. V. Bannikov, the final stage of the All-Ukrainian children's indoor soccer tournament among teams born in 2006-2008 took place.
In the final tournament, 10 teams from Kherson, Chernivtsi, Poltava, Volyn, Zaporizhia, Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kyiv and Chernihiv competed for the victory. In the match for third place, Kyiv defeated Luhansk - 3: 2. In the decisive match Poltava and Kherson drew 2: 2, and in the penalty shootout the representatives of Poltava region were more accurate - 3: 2.

All participants of the tournament received diplomas, medals, cups and footballs from the first vice-president of FFU Vadym Kostyuchenko, deputy minister of youth and sports of Ukraine Mykola Danevych, president of the indoor football federation Ilya Kiva, and the main winner from Poltava region - a certificate for construction modern football field in his city.
Igor Blyzniuk was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament, Artem Volovych the best defender, and Dmytro Bordynsky the best player.
The organizers are convinced that such activities will help to improve the yard environment and will attract young people to active healthy leisure. The tournament was created with the purpose of development and popularization of youth football in Ukraine, health work with children, prevention of juvenile delinquency and attracting public attention to the organization of leisure and recreation of children.

"Such tournaments help us grow a strong, healthy generation. We have to take the children off the streets and give them the opportunity to focus their energy on such a wonderful game as football. From those boys who came to the football field, real defenders of the homeland, family, children will definitely grow up, because sport hardens and disciplines, ”Vadym Kostyuchenko said at the award ceremony.

In his turn, Mykola Danevych noted the contribution of the Football Federation to the possibility of teenagers to express themselves in sports:
"Probably, in every yard there are teams that play near their homes almost every day. Children are very active, there are plenty of people willing to play, and the Football Federation of Ukraine will help to play anywhere. "
