Serhiy Sidorchuk: "The match with Italy was one of the most difficult in my career"

- Serhiy, do you remember your first goal in your professional career?

- Do you remember the most difficult matches in your career?

- Of the latter - against the Italian national team. It was difficult to compete with Ajax in the Champions League. And matches against Shakhtar, of course, are also always very difficult.

- What is your favorite team?

- Of the Ukrainians, it is only Dynamo. In Europe, impress "Liverpool" (liked the game of Gerrard) and the Italian "Milan". Of course, I started following this team from the time when Andriy Shevchenko played for the Italians.

- Who are you friends with the national team players?

- With Andriy Yarmolenko, Serhiy Kryvtsov. Still - with Taras Stepanenko. Our families communicate, we celebrate the New Year together, birthdays - their own, wives, children ...

- Do you have a favorite place in Ukraine?

- My childhood was spent in Zaporozhye. When I come, I remember the places there. Now it is Kyiv. My children were born here, my favorite places are now in the capital.

- Who inspired you to play football?

- The street. The main entertainment on the street was football. So at the age of eight he got into the football section.

- Did you miss Zaporizhia?

- Sometimes I manage to be there. We mostly come to our parents, but not for long. Of course, there are memories when I visit the city of my childhood.

- Would you like to become the captain of the national team?

- First of all, of course, I want to be useful to the team. At Dynamo, the captain's armband is a big responsibility. She imposes other responsibilities, participation in various social projects. Of course, there are also added responsibilities on the field. There is more communication with judges, with coaches.

- Who is better for you - Messi or Ronaldo?

"Messi." He behaves seriously both on and off the field.

- Did you have any proposals for the transition from European clubs?

- No. There were no specifics, only conversations in the press.

- What helps you not to stop on the way to a dream?

- Now it's a family. I understand that I have a responsibility not only for myself, but also for the children, for my wife.
