Youth team of Ukraine U-20 started training camp with friendly match against Azerbaijan team.

Alexander Petrakov's wards played the first of two control matches in Azerbaijan, which the team planned in preparation for the World Cup.

The blue-and-yellow team started on November 12, and the first rival, the national team of Azerbaijan (U-15), was waiting for them on the 21th. The game took place in Baku at the Dalga Arena stadium and ended with the victory of the Ukrainian team with a score of 1: 0.

Despite the fact that the Ukrainians had to face the youth national team of Azerbaijan, they were not inferior to adult rivals. At the end of the first half, the hosts should have remained in the minority - Ozanjan Kekchyu received a red card, but by agreement between the teams, the Azerbaijanis made a substitution, and the opponents continued to play in equal numbers.

The only and the winning ball in this sparring was scored by Mykola Mussolitin, who was replaced just after the break.

It should be noted that the national team of Ukraine will leave Azerbaijan for Poland, where it will play a friendly match with the hosts, which will take place on November 19 in Bielsko-Biala, which will host the 2019 World Cup (U-20) in a few months.
