U-18: Ukraine's youth team defeated the Danish team in a friendly

16 November U-18 youth team of Ukraine (players not older than 2001) held the first of two friendly matches against the team Denmark.

By agreement between the two federations, both matches are scheduled in Spain, in the town of Curtaia, at the stadium "Pabellon Municipal". 

In the first meeting, the Ukrainians were stronger. In the opening minutes there was a tie game, but the blue and yellows were the first to create a moment in the 8th minute: Sikan ran out on a date with the goalkeeper, but failed to beat him.

In the 17th minute, the Ukrainians took the lead. After a quick attack on the right flank, Mudryk shot into the penalty area, where Mykhaylenko overtook the defenders and scored in the corner of the goal.

The Danes then seized the initiative. In the 25th minute, the Denmark striker struck twice from a killer distance, but his shot was blocked by the defenders.

In the second half, the Danish team tried to win back, and at one point, in the 55th minute, Sorensen equalized. But the last word in this game was for the Ukrainians. In the 79th minute, the blue and yellows took the lead again after a corner kick. Yakub scored the ball with his head.

The Danes still had a chance to reduce the game to a draw, but in the final minutes the Ukrainians were saved by Trubin after Sorensen's shot.

We will remind that on November 19 Oleg Kuznetsov's wards will hold another match against the national team of Denmark.
