WU-19: Ukraine's women's national team wins Euro-2020 qualifiers

Following today's draw in Nyon, the WU-2020 women's national team has learned the names of their opponents in the European Championship qualifying round.

2020 teams will take part in the fight for the final stage, which will take place in July 48 in Georgia. The host team of the tournament received a direct pass to the final part. 

To draw 48 teams were divided into four baskets of 12 teams in each according to their position in the UEFA ranking. As a result, Ukraine's WU-19 national team, which was in the third basket, was in Group 9, where its rivals will be girls from the Netherlands, Ireland and Montenegro.

Group 1: France, Slovakia, Romania, Macedonia.

Group 2: Finland, Czech Republic, Faroe Islands, Lithuania.

Group 3: Germany, Portugal, Azerbaijan, Albania.

Group 4: Scotland, Poland, Croatia, Bulgaria.

Group 5: Norway, Northern Ireland, Wales, Moldova.

Group 6: Switzerland, Austria, Israel, Latvia.

Group 7: Spain, Iceland, Greece, Kazakhstan.

Group 8: Italy, Russia, Slovenia, Estonia.

Group 9: Netherlands, Ireland, Ukraine, Montenegro.

Group 10: Sweden, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia.

Group 11: England, Serbia, Belarus, Cyprus.

Group 12: Denmark, Hungary, Turkey, Kosovo.

The masters of the select mini-tournaments, which are to take place from August 27 to September 3 or from October 1 to October 8, 2019, will be determined later. 

Passes to the elite round will be awarded to the two best teams in the qualifying groups, as well as the four best holders of third places in the results of the matches against the two opponents who finished above.

The draw for this stage (seven groups of four teams) will take place on November 22, 2019, and the matches will take place in the spring of 2020. Seven winners of the elite round groups will advance to the final tournament.
