UEFA Youth League. U-19 Dynamo Kyiv made it to the playoffs thanks to a strong-willed victory

Kyiv's Dynamo U-19 beat their peers from Belgium's Anderlecht in the home rematch of the two-round confrontation on the UEFA Youth League.

In the first match in Brussels, a draw was recorded - 1: 1. In Kyiv, the first half passed in mutual attacks, but ended without goals. 

However, in the 51st minute, Anderlecht took the lead. Antoine Colassen hit Dynamo at close range. However, the hosts did not give up. In the 65th minute, Georgy Tsitaishvili, who came on as a substitute, restored the balance with a wonderful free kick - 1: 1. 

The decisive moment came in the 82nd minute. Belgian defender Jakub Kiver saved his team from goal by knocking the ball away from the goal line. The referee showed the offender a red card and awarded a penalty. Sergei Buletsa's shot was accurate. 

Thus, 2: 1 is a victory for the young Dynamo players, who reached the playoffs of the UEFA Youth League following the results of the two-round confrontation.

Now the youth of Kiev will wait for the end of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League Group Stage. The Dynamics and seven other winners of the Champions' Way selection will meet in the playoffs with teams that take second place in the Champions League Way groups.

The match draw process will take place on December 17 in Nyon, and the matches themselves will be held on February 12/13, 2019 at the Champions League squad.
