Three Ukrainian referees will work on the matches of the final stage of the Women's World Cup-2019!

FIFA has released a list of referees who will work on the matches of the final tournament of the Women's World Cup, which will be held in nine cities in France from June 7 to July 7, 2019.

The list includes 27 chief referees and 48 assistant referees representing six confederations. It is gratifying that there are three Ukrainian women in this honorary register - Kateryna Monzul, Maryna Streletska and Oleksandra Ardasheva.

Interestingly, the path of the referees to the World Cup final began in 2015, when FIFA launched the women's refereeing project "Road to France 2019".

In the next six months, the referees will continue to prepare intensively for the most prestigious women's football tournament on the planet. The first seminar will take place on December 13-17 this year in the United Arab Emirates. Our Kateryna Monzul has already received an invitation to it.

In 2019, there will be two preparatory meetings for women's World Cup referees. The first will take place in February, and the second - in mid-April. The last preparatory seminar is scheduled just before the start of the tournament.
