Euro 2020 (U-19): results of the draw of the first round of selection for the national team of Ukraine
Today, the UEFA Headquarters in Nyon has a procedure for drawing the qualifying round of the 2020 European Championships for young men under the age of 19.
The draw was attended by 52 of the 54 U-19 teams that will compete for the title of European champion. The team of Northern Ireland as the host of the Euro received a pass to the final of the competition automatically. The Portuguese national team, as the strongest team in the UEFA rankings, will start qualifying for the elite qualifying round. The rest of the participants was divided into four baskets 13 teams according to their ranking.
As a result of the draw, the youth national team of Ukraine U-19 (now U-18 - players born in 2001) got into group 9. Oleg Kuznetsov's wards will fight for a place in the elite round of Euro 2020 (U-19) with Sweden, Slovenia and Estonia .

Group 2: Spain, Serbia, Romania, Lithuania.
Group 3: Germany, Scotland, Belarus, Andorra.
Group 4: Greece, Belgium, Iceland, Albania.
Group 5: Russia, Poland, Wales, Kosovo.
Group 6: Italy, Slovakia, Cyprus, Malta.
Group 7: Czech Republic, Norway, Azerbaijan, San Marino.
Group 8: France, Denmark, Poland, Faroe Islands.
Group 9: Ukraine, Sweden, Slovenia, Estonia.
Group 10: Austria, Ireland, Switzerland, Gibraltar.
Group 11: England, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Luxembourg.
Group 12: Netherlands, Israel, Latvia, Moldova.
Group 13: Croatia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan.
The hosts of the mini-tournaments in the groups will be determined later. Matches of this stage will be completed by November 19, 2019.
The two strongest teams from each group and the best among the third-ranked teams (by meeting with the two leaders of their group) will advance to the elite round. The matches of this stage will take place in spring 2020.
The winners of the seven elite round groups will make their way to the final stage, which will take place in July 2020 in Northern Ireland.
