Oleksandr Kosenko: “We have met Slovenia several times in qualification”

Futsal head coach Oleksandr Kosenko commented on the results draw of the main selection round for the 2020 World Cup:

- The draw is normal, nothing extraordinary. Slovenia is a worthy, solid team. We have met this team many times in qualifying. There were different results - both victories and defeats.

— At Euro 2012, the national team of Ukraine beat Slovenia 6: 3. Some of our players took part in that match…

- Now it is difficult to remember the events of that match. I think you can talk to the guys about this match.

— What about your potential rivals?

- I think that there will be good teams from the previous round as well. So far, I do not want to guess which of them will get to the main round. Especially since the wait is not so long. Let's see who will pass.

- Ukraine will host the tournament in his group. Already know which city will host the qualifying matches?

- Yes, we were given the opportunity to play at home. So far, in theory, we are considering the option with Zaporizhia, but organizational issues should be discussed with the leadership.
