Kharkov holds a working meeting on the preparation of the city's application to host the UEFA Super Cup 2021
Representatives of FFU and local authorities took part in the working meeting on preparation of Kharkov's application for the UEFA-2021 Super Cup match, which was led by the first Vice-President of the Football Federation of Ukraine Vadim Kostyuchenko.
As a result of the meeting, a local organizing committee was set up to prepare the application dossier and responsible managers were appointed. The committee included: Anatoliy Babichev from the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, and Viktor Kovalenko from the Kharkiv Regional Council. On behalf of the Football Federation of Ukraine, the organizing committee was headed by Andriy Bondarenko.
The amount of information, issues and documents that are being prepared for inclusion in the dossier by the Kharkiv Regional State Administration was also determined. The participants of the meeting discussed the deadline for submitting the necessary information.
"Metalist Stadium's experience in holding Champions League matches and matches of the national team of Ukraine should be a significant argument in favor of Kharkiv in the fight for the right to host the UEFA Super Cup 2021," said Vadym Kostyuchenko during the meeting.
