2019: what awaits for the women's national team of Ukraine in the new year

By the start of the qualifying round of the European Championship blue-yellow will gather three times.

Women's national team of Ukraine its first in 2019 collection will begin shortly, January 15. This phase of preparation will take place until January 22 in Portugal and will include two friendly matches with the national team of this country - on the 17th and 20th. Shortly afterwards, Natalia Zinchenko's team will meet again and work from February 25 to March 6. Negotiations on matches on these dates with potential sparring partners are currently underway.

The final rivals in the third meeting have not been determined yet. It will run from June 10 to June 18. Two matches are scheduled for the first month of summer. Currently contacts with the federations of Belarus, Poland and Hungary are ongoing. The outcome of these negotiations will depend on the venue for the meeting.

And at the end of summer - at the beginning of autumn, the women's national team of Ukraine will start playing in the official tournament - the next European Championship. Qualifying round draw will kick-off in Nyon next month - February 21. The qualifying tournament will last until October 2020, and the final part of the Euro will be held in England in July 2021 with the participation of 16 best women's national teams of the Old World.

In autumn, three windows are planned for the qualifying matches of Euro-2021 and sparring: August 26 - September 3, September 30 - October 8, November 4-12. After the rivals of the national team of Ukraine and the calendar of competitions become known, it will be possible to build the team's plans more concretely.
