On February 7, the 43rd regular UEFA Congress will be held in Rome

The 43rd regular UEFA Congress will be held on February 7 in the Italian capital. The Congress is the highest governing body of UEFA, is held annually and is a meeting of delegates of all 55 national associations of UEFA. Among the candidates for members of the UEFA Executive Committee to be elected during the congress is the representative of Ukraine, President of the Football Federation Andriy Pavelko.

The Congress will start at 9.30 CET (Central European Time) and end at around 13.00 pm (10.30 am and 14.00 pm Kiev respectively). 

Main topics of the agenda Of the 43rd regular UEFA Congress:

• UEFA Annual Report.
• UEFA committee chair reports.
• Election:

- President of UEFA (four-year term);

- UEFA Executive Committee (eight members, including at least one woman, with mandates for four years);

- FIFA Councils (two FIFA Vice-Presidents with four-year terms, one ordinary member with a four-year term and two ordinary members with two-year terms).

• Approval of the new representative of the Association of European Clubs (AEK) in the UEFA Executive Committee.
• Approval of new UEFA members of the judiciary.

A complete list of candidates applying for eight seats on the UEFA Executive Committee (including at least one woman) for a four-year term (2019-2023). According to the UEFA Statute, the deadline for applications is December 7, 2018 - two months before the Congress.
