Meeting of arbitrators in Antalya. Preparing for the spring part of the season is picking up

The second day of training sessions for Ukrainian arbitrators in Turkey began with morning training, much of which was devoted to jogging and interval exercises.

Then the referees had a theoretical lesson, which was opened by the chairman of the FFU Arbitration Committee Luciano Luci. In his speech, he thanked the Football Federation of Ukraine for organizing the training camp and for the opportunity to invite FIFA instructor Giovanni Stevanato. "Not every federation can attract such an authoritative specialist," Luchi said.

The chairman of the arbitrators' committee outlined the plans for the gathering and asked the attendees to be collected and to take classes seriously and in theory, as this would be a good foundation in preparation for the start of the spring season.

Luciano Luci also announced that in late March - early April, the House of Football will be brought equipment for the VAR system, which will be located on the ground floor of the building. There, referees who will not be involved in official matches will practice on Saturdays and Sundays.

The theoretical lesson continued with a review of the current requirements of FIFA, UEFA and FFU for episodes related to the interpretation of the game by hand for the main referees and moments with the position "out of the game" - for assistants.

And after lunch, practice began. At once, five teams of arbitrators (20 people) were involved in the maintenance of five control matches, which took place in Belek, Side and Miracle.

Meanwhile, the President of the Football Federation of Ukraine Andriy Pavelko congratulated the referees on the start of the training camp in Belek.

- I congratulate the chairman of the FFU Arbitration Committee Luciano Luci and all judges with the beginning of the training camp, - said the FFU president. - I am sure that this work will bring you a lot of new knowledge and improve your skills, which will allow you to gain a foothold at the European level of arbitration.

The UEFA and FIFA representatives are watching over you and are going through your professional development. So I wish you only to move forward!
