Two more matches of the 19th round of the Ukrainian championship took place. "Desna" beat the capital's "gunners" in Kyiv and returned to the top six, and "Vorskla" suffered a painful defeat at home from "Karpaty".

The struggle for getting into the top company of clubs, which in the second stage will compete for prizes and tickets to European Cups, is intensifying. After the 19th round, the teams will have to play three matches before splitting into sixes, and so far the fourth-seventh positions are divided by a few points.

Today, the two teams that are the participants in this dispute held regular meetings. Desna met Arsenal-Kyiv away, which underwent drastic changes in the winter. Suffice it to say that seven new performers (Pidkivka, Zhychykov, Vakulenko, Bashlay, Tankovsky, Kadymyan, Kovpak) took part in the game with the Gunners from Chernihiv, and the team was led by a new coach - Igor Leonov, who became the third head coach of Kyiv. the course of the season after the resignations of Fabrizio Ravanelli and Vyacheslav the Terrible.

But such innovations did little to help the owners.
